Where children feel at home and thrive
Little Sunshines Daycare & Pre-School was established in 2011 as a dedicated childcare setting with a shared passion for early years education. What started as a small venture has grown into a warm, trusted setting where children aged 0–5 years feel safe, valued and excited to learn.
Located in the beautiful Keston area of Bromley, we offer spacious indoor rooms and wonderful outdoor grounds where children can explore, play and discover. We pride ourselves on creating a homely environment that feels like an extension of your own family—small, traditional and focused on what matters most: your child's happiness and development.
Age-appropriate care and learning
Every age group has unique needs. Our dedicated rooms are designed to support your child's development at every stage.

The Curiosity Approach
Our educational philosophy embraces the Curiosity Approach, which views children as capable, curious and creative individuals. We use natural, open-ended resources and authentic materials to spark wonder and imagination, combined with the UK's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Child-Led Learning
Children's natural curiosity guides our curriculum. We observe interests and build engaging experiences around them.
Social & Emotional Growth
We help children develop confidence, empathy and the skills to navigate friendships and feelings.
Outdoor Exploration
Our beautiful outdoor spaces offer daily opportunities for physical play, nature discovery and fresh air.
Creative Expression
Art, music, drama and imaginative play give children multiple ways to express ideas and emotions.
EYFS Framework
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring all seven areas of learning are covered.
Nurturing Environment
Every child is valued as an individual. We build warm relationships and celebrate achievements.
What is the Curiosity Approach?
The Curiosity Approach is a modern early years pedagogy that values slowing down, using natural and authentic resources, and creating calm, inspiring environments. We move away from bright plastic toys towards wooden, natural and real-life materials that encourage open-ended play and deeper thinking. Children are free to explore at their own pace, ask questions, make connections and develop critical thinking skills. This approach nurtures creativity, independence and a genuine love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
Healthy, home-cooked meals prepared with care
Good nutrition is essential for growing children. That's why we prepare all meals fresh on site every day using high-quality ingredients. Our menus are carefully planned to be nutritionally balanced, delicious and varied.
We understand that every child is different, and we're happy to cater for specific dietary needs, allergies, religious requirements and cultural preferences. Just let us know your child's needs and we'll make sure they're well looked after.
We Accept Government Funding
We're here to help make high-quality childcare more affordable for families. You may be eligible for funded hours depending on your child's age and your circumstances.
2-Year-Old Funding
Available for eligible families. Check if you qualify and apply online through your local council.
3 & 4-Year-Old Funding
Universal 15 hours for all 3 and 4-year-olds, or extended 30 hours for eligible working parents.
Tax-Free Childcare
For every £8 you pay into your Tax-Free Childcare account, the government adds £2 (up to £2,000 per child per year).
What parents say about us
Don't just take our word for it—hear from the families who trust us with their children every day.
"I've been taking my children to this nursery for a while now, and I can't recommend it enough! The staff are absolutely amazing — so caring, professional, and great at what they do. They always go above and beyond to make sure my kids are happy and learning."
"We couldn't be happier with our experience at this daycare/preschool! My girls have been attending since they were 2, and it's been amazing to watch them grow and thrive in such a loving, nurturing environment. The teachers and staff are wonderful."
"Since my child starts going at this nursery she is more happier and more engaged in activities. The place is amazing they have nice indoors and outdoors activities."
"My 18mth old little girl absolutely loves Little Sunshines and all the lovely staff there. She was a typical 'lockdown baby', very clingy to me and quite anti social, but going to nursery here has helped her so much with socialising."
"My little baby started here and absolutely loves it all the staff are like a little family I'm so relaxed when at work knowing she is in great care. The setting is beautiful and so clean with lots of activities for the children."
